Includes conversations around gender, sexualities often forgotten, women’s studies, and the intersectionality with other identities.

Queerness as a Community Term
Professional Track
Includes conversations around being queer and professional, understanding queerness as it relates to LGBTQ+ only spaces, and navigating queer communities.
Meets the 1st Sunday of each month from 1:30-2:30pm EST

Capable Bodies, Access and Minds (C-BAM!)
Personal Track [Formerly “Individuals with Disabilities”]
Conversations about all kinds of disability and illnesses regardless of their visibility or recognition within medical communities. Ideal for folks who want to share their own experiences, BAM!
Meets the first Monday of each month from 11:00am-12:00pm EST
Ability, Disability, Access, and More
Professional Track
Conversations about inclusion for folks with disabilities, and professionalism related to personal curiosities to one’s own and others’ disabilities. Ideal for folks interested in broadening access perspectives in the workplaces.

Mutual Aid and All it Encompasses (MAAE)
Personal Track [Formerly, “Homelessness and Mutual Aid”]
Connects various types of mutual aid with communities of poverty and homelessness and how Mutual Aid can help people in need.

Professional Track

Connects professionals with additional resources for work toward elimination of poverty and classism bias within the workplace.

Police Abolitionist Movements
Professional Track
Conversations related to criminal justice, immigration, and anti-police movements from multiple generations. Engage with readings and people about proactively dismantling these systems of oppression that harm communities.
Meets the 3rd Friday of each month from 10:00-11:00am EST

Your White Privilege is Showing (YWPS)
Personal Track
A conversation with white folks about unearned pathways, whiteness, and privilege, a precursor to engaging in active anti-racism education.
Meets the 4th Friday of each month from 11:30am-12:30pm EST
All reading groups will feature 15-30 minutes of an academic-style (non-fiction) reading, read by the organizer, followed by a guided discussion. The discussion is usually 30-45 minutes.
